Supporting Services
The following supporting services are organizations located in Meriden, Wallingford, and beyond in Connecticut that serve our Meriden and Wallingford population looking to enter the workforce or improve their employment. These wrap-around services will target what is needed for the Navigators’ clients to stay on their goal path.
Career Development:
As the Navigators help their clients learn what career path they wish to take, there are a handful of industries with incredible local companies and organizations hiring motivated and qualified workers. Clients are encouraged to contact and connect with some of the listed companies when they are ready for the job search.

We are meeting people where they are now to bring them to where they strive to be!
Navigators
The workforce navigator designates dedicated time to recruit and guide candidates to select a career path, enroll in an upskilling training program, complete the program, secure a job, and retain the job. The workforce navigator will also help the candidate to address barriers that prevent him/her from remaining in the selected career path by using existing community resources. United Way of Meriden and Wallingford’s community partner nonprofit agencies can refer their clients to the appointed Navigators.
